transparency

It’s easy enough to photograph a drinking glass: any photographer with a digital camera can do that. But once you’ve cut the glass out, how do you place it on a background? We need to find a way of preserving the light and shade within the glass surface, while allowing us to see through it to the background beyond.

At thefullmontage we’ve found a cunning method that means we can take out the background entirely, leaving you with a truly transparent object that looks convincing in any setting. And it’s not just glasses: we have a growing selection of other glass and clear objects as well.

All files are supplied in TIFF and JPEG2000 format with transparency.
